Responsibilities:

Responsible for full set of accounts, monthly closing and bank reconciliations for group of companies.

Manage and prepare monthly operations management report and financial statements on a timely basis.

Prepare budgeting, forecast, variance analysis and group cash flow statements.

Prepare and manage corporate income tax computation and tax estimates.
-
Monitor other tax reporting such as SST, Withholding Tax and assist from implementation to compliance.

Liaise with external auditors, corporate secretary, tax agent, bankers and government bodies on financial and regulatory matters.

Monitor the day-to-day activities of the finance department such as A/R invoicing, A/P payment, cash flow and other transactions.

Supervise the transactions made by A/P and A/R colleagues for correct classification of revenue and expense items, and for completeness of monthly billing and payments. Assist in their task if necessary and to provide backup to the A/P or A/R positions.

Assist in ensuring the financial policies and procedures are adhered to and to maintain an effective internal control.

Initiate improvements to work processes and decision support system.

Carry out ad hoc tasks as assigned by the Head of Department.
Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least an Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Finance/Accountancy, or Degree in Accounting/Finance or Professional Qualifications. CPA is an added advantage, with minimum 4-5 years relevant working experience in similar position.

Familiar with computerized accounting and account consolidation work – Excel, Word is a must and knowledge in AutoCount accounting system is a plus.

Required skill(s): Monthly Closing, Strong Analytical Skills, Financial Analysis, Cost Management and Building of Financial Models.
