Main Accountabilities

  1. Operate and monitor all critical utilities systems (electrical, mechanical, HVAC, fire protection, and ELV) on a 24/7 basis.
  2. Perform shift-based inspections, equipment checks, and logsheet recordings for key assets (chillers, transformers, UPS, gensets, compressors, pumps).
  3. Respond to alarms and abnormalities promptly, perform first-level troubleshooting, and escalate issues to engineers or vendors.
  4. Coordinate and support preventive and corrective maintenance works conducted by internal teams and contractors.
  5. Execute switching, isolation, and system restoration procedures in accordance with approved SOP and work permit systems.
  6. Maintain accurate shift handover records, daily reports, and system performance logs to ensure continuity between shifts.
  7. Enforce compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards during all shift activities.
  8. Participate in emergency response, fire drills, and incident management to ensure operational readiness and safety compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Fresh graduate or no more than 2 years of experience of hands-on experience in data centre operations and infrastructure management.
  • Basic knowledge in data centre technologies, including servers, networking, storage, and power distribution systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues promptly.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and industry best practices.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage time and resources effectively.
