Main Accountabilities

  1. Maintain high & low voltage electrical systems, including transformers, switchboards, lighting, and standby power systems.
  2. Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical distribution panels, UPS, and emergency systems.
  3. Perform periodic testing of earthing systems, protective relays, and insulation resistance.
  4. Carry out inspections and rectification for CCTV, card access, flap barrier, and autogate systems.
  5. Monitor energy consumption and propose efficiency improvements aligned with EMEER requirements.
  6. Ensure compliance with Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) regulations and maintain electrical installation records.
  7. Support testing and commissioning (T&C) of new installations or system upgrades.
  8. Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns and restore systems to minimize downtime

Requirements

  1. Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical/HVAC/Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineering or Technology or related field from reputable institution (University, College, Institute).
  2. Preferably 2–5 years working experience in HVAC, mechanical systems, industrial building, semiconductor or Data Center environment (fresh graduates with strong technical ability will be considered).
  3. Strong technical knowledge in CRAC/CRAH operations, precision cooling systems, chiller plant systems, cooling towers, pumps, AHU/FCU systems, refrigeration cycle and air conditionings.
  4. Ability to read/interpret mechanical drawings, P&ID, ducting layouts and system schematics.
  5. Familiar with Data Center cooling requirements, hot–cold aisle containment and airflow management.
  6. Knowledge of HVAC troubleshooting, refrigerant handling, leak detection tools and mechanical PM tasks.
  7. Understanding of safety practices: PTW, LOTO, chemical handling, working at height, confined space and basic OSHA requirements.
  8. Physically fit to perform inspections, equipment servicing and routine hands-on maintenance.
  9. Willing to work shift, weekends and join 24/7 standby.
  10. Good teamwork, communication skills responsibility and discipline.
  11. Computer literate for updating checklists, reports and maintenance documentation.
