Main Accountabilities

To ensure the network services provided to clients are always up and running.
Ensure incident tickets are responded to and updated properly, resolved in the shortest time possible within the SLA.
Provide technical support and services in resolving complex network issues.
Notify management and related parties for high-profile issues.
To make sure all links and network devices are at optimum performance.
Able to recommend improvements to meet the latest network standards.
Liaise, coordinate, and be involved in projects on service improvement and optimization.
Conduct trainings and knowledge transfer to internal staff.
Receive escalations from Tier-1/2 on network outages.
Conduct network audits to ensure maximum network performance/uptime.
Monitor, manage, and generate monthly reports from Firewall.

Requirements

Possess a Degree or equivalent in Computer Science/Telecommunications/Networking or other related areas.
3 to 5 years’ experience in network connectivity, network security, and wireless network industry.
Certified Cisco Network Associate (CCNA) requested, or Brocade/Ruckus certifications.
In-depth Knowledge of network routing and switching protocols; an initial technical assessment will be conducted.
Able to work on standby on-call and over the weekend and public holiday if required.
Proficient in written and oral English and Bahasa Malaysia.
