Main Accountabilities

  1. Designing and building enterprise-level learning management systems based on Moodle/PHP.
  2. Designing and building Moodle Plugin using PHP and Moodle Core as per customer requirements.
  3. Performing design, configuration, customization, and implementation of responsive and effective LMS systems.
  4. Implementing scalable Moodle architecture.
  5. Performing server setup, configurations, and documentation.
  6. Integrating with plugins when required, writing scripts to automate Moodle routines and processes.
  7. Planning and implementing API integrations with third parties when required.
  8. Analyzing business processes and user requirements to establish Moodle.
  9. Supporting Moodle/PHP implementations and resolving any technical issues.
  10. Capable of performing Moodle administration tasks like plugin installation and other tasks.
  11. Ensuring that the system is tested before passing it to the team for internal review.
  12. Practicing proper Unit Testing and QA practices.

Requirements

  1. 4+ years of experience in LAMP stack: Linux, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, AJAX, Apache, and Moodle LMS.
  2. Thorough understanding of various Moodle modules and experience in customizing Moodle functionalities and developing custom themes for Moodle.
  3. 3+ years of experience in integrating plugins and writing new plugins to extend the Moodle system core features.
  4. 3+ years of experience in XML data structures and Web Services (SOA).
  5. 3+ years of experience in MySQL and other RDBMS.
  6. 3+ years of experience in Linux Operating System.
  7. 3+ years of experience in AJAX, jQuery, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and XHTML.
  8. Proven experience with Moodle API and integration with third-party systems.
  9. Knowledge in Zend, Joomla, Drupal, or WordPress would be a plus.
